Our Selections
Each parcel of fruit is carefully managed and sorted, resulting in only the best quality of wines that Napa has to offer. The barrels not deemed worthy of the final blend are sold off, so remains the finest lots assembled in the creation of SALT Vine.
Cabernet Sauvignon
2016
The wine pulls you into the glass as its aroma reveals cassis, blackberry tea, pipe tobacco, and cacao. An intense core of dark blue fruits dominate the entry of the palate. As the wine unfolds in the glass, cassis and dark berry liqueur appear and dance across the palate with supple notes of Rutherford dust and well integrated tannins. The wine is intense and powerful but retains freshness with great verve and lift. Our best vintage to date.
Rosé of Pinot Noir
2018
The aroma evokes gooseberries, white stone fruit, lime skin, and citrus blossoms. Tangerine flesh and pithy grapefruit are framed by bracing acidity on the palate. There is a fine structure with great delineation of flavors. The wine manages to meld complexity with a freshness that begs you to take another sip.
This is not your typical California Rosé. It is racey and acid driven with great persistence. This rosé makes for a delicious apéritif, but is serious enough to take you through your main course.
