The wine pulls you into the glass as it's aroma reveals cassis, blackberry tea, pipe tobacco, and cacao.  An intest core of dark blue fruits dominate the entry of the palate.  As the wine unfolds in the glass, cassis and dark berry liqueur appear and dance across the palate with supple notes of rutherford dust and well integrated tannins.  The wine is intense and powerful but retains freshness with great verve and life.  Out best vinate to date.
